This gate house is based in Blackburn, Lancashire, it is a Grade II listed building with a ashlar faced external & internal rubble. The roof colapsed on the building around 20 years ago and has been slowly decaying over the years.

The timber over all the windows and doors have rotten through, this has allowed all the internal rubble stonework to collapse.

Some of the internal lime plasterwork remains intack which we have saved.

Re-building of interrnal rubble walls using Hydraulic NHL - 2 lime mortar.

Internal windows lintel installed, window returns re-build using lime mortar.
